... as a travel alert had been issued for Bahrain. He insisted it was media hype and he was right. I feel very safe. Theres a particular road with graffiti along the length of it. Most of it has been spray painted over. Apparently the locals march/protest and this is the remnants of their handiwork. ... I will buy the tree of life as it would look nice in my non existent home. God I wish I was rich. They did lay by, how wonderful!!!!

... arrived in Bahrain I went to put my coat on, I thought it was respectful (???) A woman said to me to not wear a coat, as this was the desert and it was hot. She was right. I found Ant and we hugged, then I had anxiety that we would be arrested for public displays of affection. I told you I was ignorant! ... prend la navette de l'hotel un matin à 9h..étrange horraire pour aller a la plage..mais c'est quand meme le meilleur horraire..car après 11h, on cuit litéralement sous les parasols.

Intenable

Certaines vues sont insolites avec ce skyline quand meme hallucinant. L'eau est tres chaude; Vanessa a vu une raie..qui a piqué une grosse touriste russe juste après !

To top it all off, I've been sick all week...again. Two straight days of not being able to keep any food down was rough. Plus fever, cough...all that good stuff. The school does allow us to take sick days (though to get paid for the sick day we have to go to the hospital for a doctor's note. which can be difficult when you don't have a way to the hospital!), but unfortunately, if we take a sick day we lose our end of year ...
