Arrived in Ayr in the rain. Had dinner at Cicero's - had a large pizza and some chocolate desert. Lucky we do not have lunch on our travels. Ayr is a bit of an in-between town. Historical buildings not as good as others but not modern either. Looks like it needs to determine where it wants to go. It does have really good golf courses including the Royal Troon. B&B was good. ... is fine with me while I'm walking. The sun sits very low in the sky which is different to what I'm used to, but I guess I'll get used to it.

After navigating our way out of London town Sam thought it might be nice to venture to Henley on Thames. Having learned about this town from our favorite comedian Miranda Hart who was never quite posh enough to accompany her friends because of her hilarious social mishaps and faux pas.
