... extensively to become virtually vegan, thank goodness for salmon from Norway (not perfect but passable) and yoghurt, cream and cheese from organic dairies in UK and Ireland & an abundance of beautiful fruit and veg that I have never seen before to experiment with!!!!!

I've been in Dhahran for a week, the people have been amazing, so friendly and welcoming, I have been out for lunch / dinner / parties and today I am being taken shopping. This will be my first trip out of the compound and into Khobar.

DINING. There are so many great restaurant near the hotel in Hoora. We've seen the Arirang Edo Restaurant, a Japanese and Korean cuisine. We have a great time enjoying our Korean meal with Japanese sushi. They also gave us a special room near the kitchen, and we have chance to witness and ask one of their chief while preparing sushi.
