    ... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.

    ... twin concrete tracks that just be for a tractor type vehicle. But very rough, and unbelievably, it gets steeper. Up and up he continues. The trees are so thick that you cannot see the castle or village or anything really. After about 30 minutes of this he stops with heart thumping and decides this must be the wrong way. Down he goes, having to be extra careful as the path is quite treacherous going down. Rough steep and slippery. Eventually gets back ...

    ... first drink, maybe €7-11, and for that you get to help yourself to an amazing buffet of food for the next few hours. The more expensive having seafood and all the others still having very tasty looking selections of savouries and sweets. I'm not sure how restaurants can do business with this for competition, but then I guess the novelty of eating off a small plastic plate when you go out could wear off quickly.
