          Best hotel in Rio

I would certainly recommend this hotel for business stay or for pleasure. I felt like I was home only with an ultra modern touch. Registration took place in a special room for our group. We were served water and Caipirinha when we walked in. Our luggage was taken from the bus directly to the rooms. The beach is right across the street and the night life is a short taxi ride away. I really enjoyed the breakfast room, the roof top panoramic view of the city and my overall stay in this hotel.

I would give this hotel a full five stars as everything was great, and what you look for in a five star luxury hotel. The only exception is that they wanted us to pay the equivalent of $20-$25 USD per day for access to their Wifi network. We stayed at 2 other subpar hotels on our trip to Brazil and they both had free Wifi. I was highly disappointed with the wifi situation, but other than that the hotel was spectacular, from service, to the rooms, to the amazing location and views from the rooftop pool and and bar!

We finally arrived at our hotel in Rio about 4.30 pm yesterday, twenty four hours late! We have been upgraded to the Windsor Atlantica because of building work at Windsor Leme, our designated hotel, so we're not complaining. However, our first message was to say that because of the delay we have lost our place on the tour to Corcovado, the mountain …

We woke this morning to a beautiful clear day with fantastic views from our window. We had a very nice breakfast, making the most of our last chance of fresh exotic fruits, then set off to do last minute bits. We had further contact with the agency and they have agreed to bring us back to the hotel after the tour, and to pay …

... He climbs out of the front, walks to the side of the car and flattens the 'parky' with disgust. Unfortunately, a Belgian guy then decides to pipe up. He instructs the boys to leave the guy alone. This is like a red rag to a bull. Chris lunges towards him, trying to swipe him, while I try and keep him in his seat to prevent him from doing any of us damage. This continues for a few minutes of swearing and general aggression. Luckily, this Belgian guy gets off the ...
