We are seeing mega amounts of smoke. What's up with that? Creep and beep. Just as we are in the thickest part of the smoke, we see a sign that says "Thick smoke in area".. You think???? Turns out it was caused by several brush fires. They are not too bad just caused lots of smoke.

1. Make sure you have all necessary visas. Review US Government sites as well as the individual country's requirements. Some places only require a valid passport but some places require additional visas. Some visas can be obtained very quickly...some may take a few weeks of processing.

BEST AIRPORT BATHROOM:
1st Place: Singapore Airport...hands down. The toilets are all automatic...have the fanny washer stuff....it is so clean and they know it! When you exit there is a touch screen (which says it is sanitized frequently) that asks you to rate your experience. HAHA! It was very, very clean!
2nd Place: Goes to a familiar ...
... to an end. We traveled almost 40,000 miles and visited 8 cities on 4 continents. We saw some incredible sites and met some wonderful people. We will have stories to tell for a long time. In the next day or so I will close out this blog with final thoughts on what we packed and what we wish we had packed...things we might do differently and also will give the S&D awards for our favorites. But for now...after about 29 hours of being up... We just look forward to a little ...
... brightened up when I talked with her. She seemed to enjoy the photos of my mom and her mom and others that I showed her. I saw her room, and walked around with her, and before I left she asked me if I was Chris...oh well. It was so good to see her. Stopped by Donna's to chat before going back to Barb's. Barb and I had apple pie and wine for dinner (!) and watched the rest of "Hawaii".
