Chicago & the Bean
... 40 years since Toni had made a visit, so a Millennium Park was tops on her list of places to visit.
We took the Metra in from Northbook and headed straight for the park, after of course, purchasing our all day CTA passes so we could hope on and off the trains and buses all day without a worry.

... building which had 103 levels and is the tallest tower in the western Hemisphere, they were telling us facts on the way up like this building is as tall as 330 Michael Jordans tall. Once we got up to the highest floor mum instantly turned snappy happy and me and dad went on the glass floor which was really awesome. ... like again. Anyway, it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. There are probably two more people from the hostel I should mention: the midwestern girl, and the African guy. The African guy was a complete sleeze and was simply annoying because he seemed to think because I waited in line with him (without talking to him) that we had a connection… whatever you loser.
