... 40 years since Toni had made a visit, so a Millennium Park was tops on her list of places to visit.
We took the Metra in from Northbook and headed straight for the park, after of course, purchasing our all day CTA passes so we could hope on and off the trains and buses all day without a worry.

Zu allererst: Ich bin gut angekommen. So sicher war ich mir da nicht, ich hatte sehr lebendige Vorstellungen von mir, zwei, drei Officern in einem kargen Raum, gestrichen in neutralem Khaki, an einem einzelnen Tisch in der Mitte sitzend. Soweit kam's aber nicht - ist das nicht schön? :)

... like again. Anyway, it wasn’t an enjoyable experience. There are probably two more people from the hostel I should mention: the midwestern girl, and the African guy. The African guy was a complete sleeze and was simply annoying because he seemed to think because I waited in line with him (without talking to him) that we had a connection… whatever you loser.
