A relaxing, beautiful place to start

Everyone has been extremely accomodating & helpful to us here. Both pools are great, the swim up bar was pretty fun, but the coctails were steep compared to some out of the way spots we found while cruising the streets. The variety at the continental breakfast is super fantastic. We feel extremely safe and comfortable staying here. Not a bad spot to have as a home base while here. The only 2 things to think about are: If you want inexpensive drinks, don't get them at your hotel, head out into the streets and find yourself some deals... the other thing, go online and prebook if you want to get a deal for this hotel, we got a great room on

... keen.

After I had seen this club, I proceeded into a place called the Sound Machine. This place started filling up heavy. It was equipped with a huge upstairs dancefloor, 5 bars and the weirdest toilets. It had so many laser and strobe lights around and the atmosphere was electric. The Indonesians were blowing their whistles (Like they do on the streets to stop the traffic to a halt to cross pedestrians!) It was hilarious! I had a great time although Friday was so much ...

... I saw one I suggested that we do it. So, we did, we got a hour long massage and then came back to the hotel room. When she asked me to choose my bed, I took the twin one and let her have the queen one. Haha .. I was half afraid she was going to accuse me of being a sexist. She wasn't going to have dinner, so I had it by myself. I am almost glad that she does not drink. It has given us an opportunity to know each other without getting drunk. Haha .. who am I kidding, I ...

... the fishing town of Semporna, before taking a boat the following morning to yet another island oasis. Rumours spoke of the splendour of such an island, comparing it to those in The Phillipines and Thailand. I longed to gaze on such waters and swim with yet more impressive sea life. The time had come.

Once again we took to the side of the road and awaited the bus to Semporna, beforehand we had two spare hours which we spent walking amongst the Canopies of the jungle. Even ...

... our newfound area near warung Nikmat. We know this is closed, but we choose one called warung Biduri. Tiny little blue place, neat as a pin. She was beautifully dressed, down to her pearl earrings. Covers on everything and spik and span.
She was on her own so it was about half an hour wait but worth it.
Sweet n sour chicken and rice, Nasi goreng ayam, mei goreng ayam, crackers, beer, mango juice and a banana juice all for $9. Enak ...

... pedang pedang beach and visiting the temple on top of 70 metre cliffs.
The uluwatu area is spread out and you would need transport to get around, we were told to keep the taxi waiting for the day as it is hard to get. If I stayed here i would hire a motorbike.
