My second day out in schools with a teacher trainer was fuelled by almost as little sleep as yesterday. Bangkok clearly hadn't had enough of the stormy weather because it gave it another good go last night. The thunder wasn't quite as aggressive but it was still enough to wake me up. Today I was with kindergarten students at Bangkok's girls' boarding school. I noticed however that some boys had still managed ...

Well actually I don't think is go that far, I definatly knew that I'd had a drink but I didn't feel half as bad as when I woke up! D'ny is only just 3 and, with very strong encouragement from Cherry, shyly speaks a little newly learnt English to ...

... journey. In fact we hadn't even left England. The 20 yards we walked from getting dropped off at Heathrow to the check-in counter was deemed long enough for her to complain about her bag! It could be a long five months... Despite a 45 minute delay for our first flight to Dubai the journey went pretty smoothly. We were both impressed with the Emirates airline and demolished the chicken casserole despite having eaten dinner at Heathrow just ...

After the day at Chatuchak Market we spent the evening at Khao San Road, which is the backpacker area. Loud, lively, hectic. Sent some photos and a little video to Gareth & Rhian to remind them both of past times. Gareth spotted a bar he spent many hours in apparently! Sat down for a beer and started chatting to a couple of guys, one of whom runs a hotel here. He gave us some great recommendations. Where to ...
