    ... to keep pedalling. One old chap called out "Give us a lift?" And a couple of cyclists who'd obviously been watching us puffing away applauded when we reached the top! Quite an experience!
    Chris went and bought some sandwiches etc for later while I sat and watched the bikes and recovered. We cycled on road through East Grinstead and arrived at the station where the cycle path started again, only to discover steps to go up. Nothing like the steps ...

    It was a glorious few days!!

    Australia Day night I went up to the rooftop of the Queen of Horton bar. They had a giant tee pee set up with a massive BBQ in the middle and wood chips on the floor. It was kind of like being outside :)

We saw many of the Queen's carriages- the Diamond Jubilee Coach, the Glass Coach and the gold Coronation Coach.
