... though you see the same scenery from shore, it's always nice to see the sights from the water and learn something at the same time. Adding to the enjoyment was doing this with the last of relatives still in Memphis: our niece, husband, and two kids. A great ending to a wonderful time seeing the Memphis sights with family.
... home, we were waiting at the trolley stop and this older woman called out to offer us a lift back to our hotel. Chris and I were very, very dubious but Clive and Richard said let's go so we rode home with Pearl, I'm a Christian not a Muslim. Quite a scream, we got the whole family history and she said she'd appreciate a tip when we arrived at the Sheraton. So we obliged!

... Saturday night in Memphis so we quickly picked up the hat and found the nearest cab back to Graceland. Zach was a happy and shattered so we put the money he had earned in his pocket and listened to the cab driver tell us about his son who was also really into music and studying in Memphis to be a professional muscian. He didn't think we were bad parents at all which made us feel better.
