Hi, I am writing this while waiting for our third flight of the day. This morning we flew from Brisbane to Denpasar and then onto Jakarta. Our next flight is to Amsterdam and we are due to leave Jakarta about 4am (East Coast Australia time), this will be longest flight of the trip of about 14.5hrs. The kids are travelling well.

... a group we spent the night in a guesthouse and at 4 in the morning a van brought us to the start of the trek. We hand to walk around 1,5 hours uphill to reach the summit. We were too late for the sunrise, but the volcano was so unreal! I'd never seen something like this. In the crater a lake was form of really acid water, turquoise blue. ... I don't recommend it to those with server claustrophobia. Arriving inside the building I was amazed as it is a giant. There are four walls of Museum displays with each wall labeled from satu (one) to empat (four) serving as a time line in Indonesia's history. The Museum displays were 3D reconstruction of the moments in history being described in the panels below them.
