... the bus stays with you throughout the stops. Apparently, Jakarta is known for its myriad of shops, malls,supermarkets...each featuring slightly different goods. The tour will visit some of the famous areas and 'not-so-famous' areas (?)...and haggling is part of everyday life here!! Sounds exciting!!!..tbd... ... hangover lunch and had full body massages done at Ezta's house which were sooooooo good!!!! Best massage I've ever had. Sunday is all about chilling so me and Anna watched a chick flick in bed and took it easy. Were both feeling emotional because tomorrow is the day Anna goes home and we are separated until the end of September �� this is the last time on our trip where we will be falling asleep next to each other ...

... far as transportation and we are so lucky that we had someone at the wheel that knew what he was doing. We felt a little spoiled being picked up by someone and it was definitely nice.

We met Katherine and Bruno at their house in a quiet and gated community somewhere in Jakarta. They have an awesome house and we get our own bedroom and bath. We spent some time catching up and getting a tour of the neighborhood ...

... The walls were filled with photos from the 1950s and 60s and the waitors were dressed in Javanese designs. We took a table upstairs which had a view of the square. We had a look at the menu and ordered some Indonesian food. I was so happy to finally get some traditional food! We ordered two Bintang beers, a dim sum selection plate, Indonesian spicy chicken soup and Nasi Gereng. It was one of the best meals we'd had in Asia. We finished with some delicious ...
