      ... that we all got monkeys on our arms and then we left, not with the monkeys of course. We came back to have dinner at the restaurant at our hotel and then we came home and I wrote this. Anyway that was my day, hope you enjoyed reading about it

      ... that 'detergent should be involved!'. [Layering Axe over the stink also does not count - one of Connor's short cuts!] She rightly does not want to be travelling with a group of stinky boys.

      We laughed at the airport about how our kids will have a culture shock when faced with kids from other SA schools in the camps - there are apparently boys from Hilton College and Pretoria Boys High on the trip. Lots of short hair, tidy clothes and 'yes sir', ...

      ... wall returned and I started doing jumps off the edge etc. über cool. I safely got back on firm land. I had no idea I was holding on so tight until the cramp in my hands set in. Another adventure accomplished I strolled back up the mountain and tucked in to my picnic - fresh bread, cheese, tomatoes and salt and pepper crisps. Delicious.       ... I am standing on the softest white sand beach imaginable. This is just the beginning, I think. My hostel was located just off of the popular and trendy Kloof and Long Streets. And after staying in probably a hundred hostels over the years, this was possibly the best I've ever seen. From the outside it looks like a boring walled in fortress.       ... gesture so meaningful to them, yet seemed so obvious to us. At the price of seven U.S. dollars, we were able to buy dinner for 3-4 families that ended up staying the night. The group of shacks that were burnt down were most likely not fit to survive the winter, so this is extremely common in order to force the government to assist them in purchasing the material needed to rebuild their homes, in much better shape than they previously were, free of charge to them.
