... 2 p.m. polo match - a first time experience for Norma and Gus, and our second time to see the beautiful animals and the athletic talent of the rider/horse teams.
We kept so busy, laughed so much, created so many new memories - that I'll have to finish it up by just posting some of the pictures!
... We had lunch at a nice restaurant and walked the dogs around town. We drove back on highway 111. The highway is the main drag that joins the foothill towns together. Put another 5 miles on us and our furry friends.
We broke out our folding bikes and actually rode them. Jil went to her first yoga class. We washed some clothes. Jil went swimming once so far. Did 25 laps. All four of us have walked 5 miles almost every day thus far.

The real world needed me though and I had responsibilities to fill so I grimly walked back to the Mountain Station. ... all the candidates for CA(RA) positions go through a group interview process for the morning and then do either interviews or presentations in the afternoon. It was weird to think that this was the last time I ever was going to go through this process since next year will be my senior year. Today we woke up early and decided to have breakfast at Starbucks on our way to Bear Mountain. I was surprised by how good my breakfast was - wholemeal wrap with spinach, feta and egg white inside, yum!
Given the weather reports are saying 'severe weather' tomorrow with 100% chance of snow, we decided to duck back to the cabin and grab our lift passes for tomorrow in the hope we could get a refund. ...
