... Saturday was spent relaxing by the pool, walking and hitting the driving range. What a relaxing day! This morning we were on the road by 9 a.m. and headed 4 hours south to Fort Myers. We had a great visit with Terry and Mary DeWyre who are staying the winter down here. After a two hour visit of chatting, cocktails and snacks we were back on the road south to ...

I can only say that it hit the fan. Went shopping a.m., got home for lunch - no keys. Locked out. Condo Mgmt. office closed for 2 days vacation. Mary Ann ****** (guess who lost the keys! Not Mary Ann). I let myself into the locked up management building (don't ask), let ...

Apathy

A travel blog entry by robthurston on Oct 07, 2013

... I've been to Medellin. I've been to big cities like Mumbai. Those crowds are so big. You could take 100, 500 of your best men and it just wouldn't matter. They'll die needlessly. The crowds in some of these places will mobilize so quickly. And an invader, it doesn't matter who the individuals are... It doesn't matter how much padding your wearing. It doesn't matter how fast you can run. They probably aren't coming out under those conditions. I can tell ...
