Hello - this is the first time I am writing a blog from a laptop and it does feel pretty good! So much less effort than my small iphone screen. So we woke up early in Dalat and took a bus to Nha Trang. We have heard mixed reviews about this place, some say its a beautiful beach and some say its a Russian magaluf. Either way, it was definitely Russian influenced. The bus was comfortable but the conductors are notorious for being rude ...

We are both now official travellers, neither ...

Finally walking into our hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the intercontinental actually was. A quick shower and off to our mud bath. The place, 100 egg mud bath, could ...

We touched down in Dong Hoi on Monday morning and mellowed by the pool for the day to recharge the batteries and re-energise. The combination of early rises, luggage haul, lengthy bus journeys and blistering temperatures left us feeling exhausted so we decided to take a day off from the chaotic world that is Vietnam. We booked two nights at a farmstay in Phong Nha and immediately fell in love with the place upon arrival. Phong Nha is an eternity of natural beauty. ...

Arrived early, I navigated us to the ihome hostel and we were greeted by a lovely lady on reception. She gave us towels and me and Morgan went to Vinpearl Island for the day: theme park, water park, aquarium, arcade. The rides clearly had zero health and safety ...
