    Nha Trang Vinperl Park

Today we went to vinperl park. We had a great day! Started on the cable car ride from land over to an island, 3320m long, very cool. Then we went on some of the rides, nothing new for the kids, but still fun. They also had a huge inside area full of arcade games which we all enjoyed, as we don't normally play these at home. Then ...

Day 128. Train to the coast

We got breakfast and checked out. Check out was a bit off as there was a massive (built like a brick sh*thouse) Aussie guy who was drunk/off his head wanting my phone number so he had someone to meet when he came to England. He then asked me if he would get in with a criminal record. I asked what. He said, "robbery, larceny and assault". Absolute nutcase. I said I better go or I will miss my train. He then said he might miss his his, and if he does his mate ...

    Nha Trang

A travel blog entry by maddyaw on Dec 04, 2014

Nha Trang, our current location is a big city on the coast of Vietnam, very touristy and popular specifically with Russians. (As a lot of Vietnam seems to be?) There's not that much here of special interest, although the geography of the area and surrounding landscape is really beautiful! We spent a day at a spa yesterday and went in the mud baths! A very strange experience! Had a night ...

    Nha trang - day 1

I arrived in Nha Trang at around 7.30am with all kinds of ideas flowing around my head about whether to skip straight on to Saigon due to the storms of the last 2 days or to stay in Nha Trang and pray for good weather. When I arrived the clear sky, sun and initial views of the beach had me won over. Luckily my hostel was right by the bus companies building so I freshened up and headed down to the beach. Here I relaxed for a couple of ...

    Day 90

A travel blog entry by becky_whitmore on Nov 18, 2014

Another awful night on the train. One creepy guy that kept staring at me and another guy that couldn't stop coughing in our 4 bed room, yuk :-( I also discovered that they don't change the bedding in between people, double yuk! I arrived at the hostel to discover there was no electricity, not just at the hostel but in the whole city except for places that had generators. I couldn't shower and ...
