It has been a lovely two days in Nha Trang - visiting a pagoda and ancient Buddhist holy towers, snorkeling, eating, and experiencing mud and mineral baths. This is a popular Russian vacation destination with two direct flights daily from Moscow.

The breeze off the sea makes the weather quite comfortable. I am feeling pretty relaxed here.

... then head back to the hotel for the afternoon. We wandered down to the beach and then headed along looking for a sun lounger. We could rent one for 40,000 VND each. They also told us that Da Nang, our next stop is a great place to get clothes and shoes ...

... playing in the shore break at Nah Trang. That is a beautiful beach. The weather is perfect. The food was good and we eventually got a room. Nah Trang is dominated by Russians. They are one pretty dower class of tourist. Of course I am pretty obviously an American and it is difficult to tell if they are just grumpy, unable to speak English or hate me because of sanctions and the collapse of the Ruble due to North Dakota Frackers. No joy from Muscovites because ...

... Who knows what is in there!
Most of the journey all I can do is stare out of the window in awe - this is when I wish I had a motorbike! Though the fear set in when we all realized the drivers total neglect for our lives.. We are travelling down narrow, winding 'roads' in the jungle, and he is driving like a maniac! He is going a solid 70 and not slowing down for any of the turns.. There was a few instances we nearly turned o we the side of the mountain! A few near ...
