We had taken a sleeping bus from Hai An, Vietnam to Hue, Vietnam and it was really pretty a easy 5 hours. We had top bunks and the bus moved right along. So we decided we could do the 16 hour sleeping bus from Hue (Tomb City) to Nah Trang, the beach resort city. But 16 hours turned into 18 hours and the roads were terrible. The police check point was a drag and we arrived at 8:30 AM and the hotel would not receive us as requested. The 26th was a pretty spaced out day. I ...
I have now stayed quite a few days in the small farming town of Da Lat, and I am ready to move on. I am catching quite a long bus ride to Hoi An, which I have been told by many I will enjoy as perhaps one of my favourite cities in Vietnam!
We take out first 4 hour bus ride from Da Lat to Nah Trang - which was the most beautiful but scariest bus ride of my life. We drive the entirety of the trip through the vast jungle, with deep valleys, huge mountains and millions of ...

Once again the downfall of being in a resort town. I can understand why they don't like tourists because most of them are kind of rude but it ruins the experience for the other white folk like ourselves. We were picked up to head to the docks at 7:30am. The van was full of ...
Travelled to Nha Trang today, which is the no. 1 holiday destination for Russians, and it is a very strange place! Arrived about 5pm and met a lovely American girl and Swedish guy who I was sharing a dorm with. We all went for a walk around the nearby area and found an incredible Greek restaurant. Went out and bumped into a group of friends I met on Koh Rong who are from Bristol :) It has don't nothing but rain since I got here! Very strange. Not a big ...
