Departure Day
... Definitely the wire working is a possibility.
I still have glass beads that I made so can definitely continue with the wire work. And we have a perfect spot at home for me to work. Dad and I will have to learn to share the work spot.
I am sad as I say goodbye to my new found friends, but it is time to close out and go home. One last delicious breakfast and I am on my way home. Goodbye Snow Farm - It's been so much fun.

The Final Buildup and Completion

Once again I'm up early and head down to the metal working studio. During the night it occured to me that I needed bronze earrings to go with the bronze jewelry I've been making. So at 6am I am making bronze earrings - most of my jewelry has been done with bronze wire as the color goes well with the beads I have made. Around 7am I am joined by Diane who had some ideas during the night as well.

There is much more banter and sharing in the class while working on the metal. While making the glass beads we were so intent on our melting glass that there was very little cross talk. Today is the first day of metal working - the part we do to put the beads together. Our instructor is Joy Raskin. Most of us start the day by cleaning up the rest of the glass beads, then we proceed to the metal studio.
