    ... a place in a time warp - an early western era place with creaky floorboards dating back to the 1800s. Plenty of character and comfortable beds but there was more water coming from the tap gland than the showerhead itself. But all a great experience!

    Dinner was in a place called the Handlebar Restaurant just around the corner to the hotel - a very characterful place with beer served in jugs.

    Up for breakfast, pancakes, sausage, fruit and banana bread. On with our cozzies then down to the hot springs that open at ten. Full of old years and we brought the average age down by centuries. We had a warm pool, warmer pool, hot pool....no smell of sulphur.... Ok for an hour then a million tiny tots turn up with their teachers. That stopped a couple of people from 'petting'... Thank ...

    ... just filled the areas around the stream. As we climbed higher and higher, the flowers changed, and we started seeing more and more small alpine flowers. There were also so many beautiful landscape views of all the high mountains around us and across the valley. The best part of this road was the time when I got to drive the jeep!!     ... in the area. It was 13,000 ft up and it really felt as if you were on the bridge to heaven.
