    ... we started seeing more and more wildflowers, including my favorite: Fireweed (a pink flower, of course)! In my opinion, the best spot we saw it was on a ledge overlooking the river down below. There were several Fireweed plants in this area.

    Day Seven -- Plan A, Plan B, Plan C

    Today was supposed to be our day to drive to Ouray to enjoy the views on the San Juan Skyway, see the waterfall at Box Canyon, go to the hot springs, and do a bit of birding.
