A must have is a Coral Sea view apartment, definately worth the extra fee. Our apartment was very spacious and comfortable, even though our children had to sleep on sofas in lounge. Some of the external corridors are looking tired. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beach towels provided from Reception. Many different pools spread over complex. Free island buses are very regular from Reception. Must do sunset at One Tree Hill..

Hopefully the Sunshine Coast brings ...

... stagnant and not looking good at all. Disappointing as was Wilsons Beach and Conway Beach which was a little farther down the road. Back to Airlie beach we continued onto Shute Harbour, where a lot of the ferry boats leave for Daydream, North Molle and South Molle Islands. Again very quiet and not much happening so back to caravan. A nice chat with our neighbors who have travelled from Melbourne, to finish the ...

... more until we were all sat holding on tight to the side rail (on the upper side) as we stared down at the sea below us wondering how easy it would be to slide right off the boat! It was exhilarating.

It was not the relaxing trip we expected, but sailing was a lot of fun. After a while people started to get used to the almost 45o tilt of the boat, and were able to test their sea legs to inch around the boat to get better views of ...
