... probably about 2-3 miles. Nice walk, and nice area. Lots of potential and as Dick read in TripAdvisor, not as much action on River Walk. There are a few restaurants and bars, but mostly the backside of buildings. We stopped a few people to get directions and advice. One gentleman told us about the Third Ward where there were some restaurants and bars! The Third Ward is about a block off the River Walk.

Saw the Pedal Tavern, just like Cincinnati's Pedal Wagon. And, guess ...

... were involved. We also visited the Veterans of Foreign Wars local club several times to meet with friends. Saturday night we met up with several Class of '62 former classmates, Rita Luther and Andy Engel and wife Pam.

The Point Brewery is very much smaller than the other ones we visited and it is still in the old buildings. The mascot, Nicholas C. Point a totally made up name, is painted on the outside of the building. We had two tour guides and they were very good and had good strong voices, very needed in the loud parts of the process.
