... us around town then take us to Borobudur where he specializes in guiding folks through the monument. Toni setting us up with Trudi was right on the mark when she talked him up as being the top guide in the area. Trudi has a great personality, is high energy, and a wealth of knowledge. He really made the day awesome- discussing history and taking us to out-of-the-way place to eat breakfast and later lunch that were just ...

Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia doro... We got there about 4pm, which ****** everyone off as we were meant to spend time around the Pool and then shifting it up to Uluwatu temple. We skipped the Pool part and went straight to the Temple, after a quick tour of the Villa. We sent Mr Yium Yium home with a nice tip, as it was unreasonable to ask him to wait for us to go there too. So Andy had to ferry two car loads of people to Uluwatu and back!

Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple is ...

After my difficulty with the young kids, I asked to be with the fourth grade, considering I felt my abilities and talents in teaching would be better utilized with the older kids. Thus, I would teach the fourth grade alone while Miryam and Suzanne would take the third grade. I was more than ready and confident to take a class on my own; even though the others are usually around me, it's always me ...
Ubud, Bali, Indonesia snclark8... maybe a drink or some time at the buffet... We then headed down the mountain to Ubud. WIth a little time to kill before meeting friends, we stopped at a local artist museum and gawked at the art of a Spanish man who had this sprawling estate filled with his intersting (I found quite gaudy) portraits. But the grounds were just lovely with tons of beautiful statues and fountains. We then moved on to a restaurant for a quick bite, that turned into a little ...
Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia graceonthego... even help you at the traffic lights when you are searching for the right direction. The environment is really amazing! Ricefields in the backyard, white beaches outside of the touristcentres like Kuta. That means not that the beach here in Kuta isn't that nice, its just not that blue water and white beach. So anyway c ya soon Mike
Kuta, Bali, Indonesia mikesb... where the 2002 bombing had been, did some shopping and had some drinks along the way. Since I had decided I wanted to get a tatoo, we went to a bunch of different places to check them out...but all of them were either sketchy and dirty or there were no artists there. We were about to give up when we tried one last place. Outside was about ten local boys sitting around doing tequila shots and eating peanuts. Apparently, it was one of the artists ...
Kuta, Bali, Indonesia sunikhosa... rolls. Linda had a Nasi Goreng combination Indonesian fried noodles and fried rice. We decided to get a little wild and even had dessert. Kathy had a Coconut custard pudding with cashew nuts. Linda had a carmalized pineapple with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I had a carmalized poached pear with ice cream. The whole thing cost us 130,000 rupiah (rp) which is about $15 US. Headed back to the hotel. Lee and Kathy went for dip in the pool, and called it quits for the night.
Ubud, Indonesia jbdsalem... provision (I am not joking) prior to your departure time to make sure that you don't miss your flight, unless of course if you have nerves of steel. Secondly, I got to the airport to find out that there is no seat allocation, the airline overbooks seats in anticipation that some people will pull a no-show. So it was literally like you had to run to the gate to make ...
