Day 2, Monday: Pain, Fever and Exhaustion
We left at 6:45 AM and took the subway to the airport. The trip was efficient, but it took an hour, and we changed trains 4 times. I slept on the flight, and when we arrived in Sumatra slept ...

We wanted to do a snorkelling trip before trying our luck at surfing again so still unsure what to make of Risky and his boys trips we ventured out asking a few boat men on the beach about prices etc. Most were the same so we booked in with a guy on the beach on a little snorkelling trip to a few of the local reefs. ... no arrival forms left, so we needed to hunt down a security member to fill the desks up. So we probably spent 20 minutes trying to fill out a card. Unfortunately as this was going on more and more people were arriving, and the queue to immigration was getting longer and longer. It seemed that they had very few people manning the desks, and at one point there wasn't anybody at the immigration desks..this didn't really help clear the queue! All in all we ...

... are hundreds of monkeys around? Breanne and I picked up rocks to get the monkeys attention and hopefully get them interested enough to approach. Breanne got one monkey to lean on her head and even pee on her leg. Great fun at the Monkey Temple. Just outside the temple was a small clothing store. I ended up purchasing a 'wife beater' shirt for 50,000rp ($5) when the original asking price was 100,000rp ($10); talk about bartering king! Breanne was able to barter getting two pairs of ...
