        ... better understanding of a stately lifestyle of a high ranking official after this visit. Facts- the reason HK was called fragrent harbour was because they made incense here and buried a lot of sandwood to do that , so it smelled good. Gas here is $ 12.72 a liter, so thats about 1.80 a liter, 4 liters to a gallon. Grave sites- people here could have " Armchair graves" if they are very wealthy. You go to visit your ancestors graves twice a year. And land is so valuble now ...

        ... in North China effecting the Sea. The humidity is about 80%. We were traveling quickly leaving the Philippines knowing we would be encountering rough seas and needing to slow down. We will arrive in Hong Kong at 8:45 AM and be dock side at 10:00AM. Off to have some lunch and then read til a lecture on Hong Kong at 2:15.         This weekend we went to Camayan Beach Resort in Subic. As part of this trip, I learned the following things:

        • The buses in the Philippines aren't necessarily designed to ferry a 6' white guy on a multi-hour trip. The seat width made me reconsider the fact that I may indeed have "birthing hips".
