    Cheap stay for the area

The hostel is simple but clean. Rooms are spacious and have a very good hot shower. The airco is silent and effective. There is also a little restaurant that is sometimes open and there is a pizza place across the street.

The area is perfect if you want to do some shopping in BKK because it is across the street from the MBK and next to the Skytrain

Tomorrow we plan to see the Grand Palace and Reclining ...

It could be said that this isn’t the most attractive city or it could be said that it’s downright ugly but whichever way you put it, the words ‘pretty’ or beautiful’ certainly do not spring to mind! Concrete flyovers in places reach 3 layers high, some levels serving as roads and others for the city’s skytrain.

... share a “ National Hockey League”. Not big enough for the world stage ! The TWHL is comprised of some of the Flying Farang teams and one team that is the Thailand National Team that competes in club leagues around Asia. The league is half Farangs and half Thai. So the game is catching on. As well the Thailand team is improving. While they lost to Khazakhtan 52-1 in 2001, they beat both Bahrain and India, 29-0 in 2011. ...
