... Old Delhi is as chaotic, dirty and terrifying as its modern counterpart is placid, clean and orderly. Centred around the medieval market of Chandi Chowk, a bewildering maze of alleyways and covered stalls criss-crossed by exposed electricity wires that you could lose yourself in for literally days, Old Delhi is, I suspect, closer to the reality most Indians live from day-to-day.
