          ... chance we can take the visitors to Whitehaven. We motor up through Hook Channel, wind still blowing with venom but protected here. We travel along the northern edge of Whitsunday Island however as we approach the right hand turn down he eastern side - the sea is rough and wind increases.           ... to Emerald for two nights and went to an
          Agricultural show and amongst many things we saw some show jumping and wood
          cutting competition. We have just arrived in Sarina, a small town just south of
          Mackay and will spend 5 nights here.

          The weather has been hot and sunny in the outback areas (in the 30s), while
          here in Sarina it is still fine and sunny but a bit milder around mid 20s for rest of this
