... to like the look of Mackay and fancied staying there for a while, he refused to start. So there we are stuck at pump number 3 of a BP garage in Mackay, the idea of being on a beach by lunchtime quickly slipping away. A relaxing morning as the van wasn't
disconnected last night so it was tidy up inside, turn the gas off
and then go. As we had time and we were going to Chris and Shells we
didn't need to leave early so we went for a quiet walk around the dam
where we stumbled across a pair of green Pygmy Geese.
We left about 10 and headed for Mackay.
