The fishing wasn't a great success but we did catch a few fish but they were just not big enough. We even tried catching a mud crab but he just wouldn't come close enough.

Chris cooked us a lovely roast for dinner. Then they gave me a new tackle box with gear for my birthday as I have been using an old box till now.

Today mum and dad did a bit of work with the weaner cows teaching them to move and stop when directed. We went on a tour of a sugar mill which was very interesting, having seen all the sugar cane plantations it was fantastic to see the process to obtain the juice and the final product of raw sugar, nothing is wasted with sugar cane crops, even the ash and the molasses mud is combined and sold back to the farmers to put back into the soil as nutrients and also molasses is given to stock, the molasses is also sold to the Bundaberg distillery to make ...
