I had specifically specified "avoid tolls", and there are 40 toll gates in Oslo so it's not unusual to be taken off the main road, but from this far away from Oslo seemed odd. Still, I didn't have any schedule to keep to so I followed Google's suggestion interested in where it would take me. Just after Amotfors, Google said "in 600 metres, turn left". But there was no left. Oh wait, yes there was, that tiny gravel road ...
... hiking in Norway so even opted for a smaller hour walk of 5k around a typical Norwegian valley. The lakes, mountains and cute houses were all out in full form and we enjoyed it even when it started to rain. As the valley was near an area of Norway we had previously visited (Flam) we decided to drive up to a viewpoint to remember how beautiful that part of the world was, we weren’t disappointed.
