We set off for our trip at 6am on an icy cold friday morning. Erin even had a hot pack with her in the car on the way to the airport. We were both very grateful that we could get a lift from Kev's dad Tony given the time and temperature. Our flight with China Southern was fairly uneventful (thankfully!) and we arrived safely in Guangzhou China to a hot and sweaty 37 degrees. We mostly just watched movies on the flight. ... The big shopping area was very close. But, you never would have known it if you walked around the local streets. It just all of a sudden smacks you in the face! We all got a few things there. The city spent $$$$ to develop the area for the games. This includes a stadium exclusively for the opening and ...

... as the day we got her. There are kids everywhere, some were special needs but many were not. All waiting for families...There are 2000 children being cared for at this orphanage. 1000 on site and another 1000 in foster families. Foster care was just starting when Hannah was a baby. We were happy to hear that foster care has become more prevalent. Our next stop was a reception for Hannah. We walked into a conference room and on the screen said "Welcome back Bo ...
