    We decided that today would be a great day to take a break from touring and play a round of golf. The weather in Ancona area was beautiful and sunny. The front desk at our hotel booked a tee time for 10:40 at the nearby Golf Club Canero only 20 minutes from our hotel. The golf course is nestled in a valley with views of many hilltop towns nearby.     ... of the mosaics are taken. They are beautiful. There is also a relic of St. John Paul II. Then we went to Monte Sant'Angelo on the bus. It was up a mountain.     ... to eat. We chose a seafood antipasti to share with a tomato salad (just tomatoes) – the lady looked astonished that we didn't want spaghetti and that we only wanted one dish between us. It was, in fact, very nice – octopus, clams and a white fish. We sat about in the afternoon and then had fish again for supper. We chatted briefly to an American couple who are here for next week's Swim Trek, all the others having left today.
