I've started this blog to keep track of what I'll be doing during my time in Iloilo and to use for my portfolio when I get back to uni. Although i have no idea how to use it properly, I'll try and keep it updated so you can read about and follow what I've been doing, hopefully it works!

Once you have mastered the water start you then have to master the skill of riding and then riding up wind - whilst trying not to tangle yourself with all the other kiters out on the water.

We left Kalibo in a mini bus and travelled two hours to Caticlan to catch the boat over to Boracay. We were told everything was included in the fare we'd paid, so when the bus driver gave us our boat tickets we headed to the terminal. We were then told that we needed to pay an environmental fee and a terminal fee and the driver had gone, so it wasn't such a good deal after all.
