... from the internet so you can see a bit of the area.)

After hiking around, we went back to the van and continued our ride to Fethiye. It took about 3 hours to get there, but was a great drive. It is very similar to Big Sur - roads along the curves of the mountains with precipitous drops to the ocean. The only difference is that the ocean is an amazing aquamarine color.

We stay in Fethiye for the next two days so will have more to report then!

... were to wait for the big parachute to inflate, walk a little, pause, and then run together to the edge of the mountain while the wind picks you up. Katie had a false start due to the wind, which was scary, but no time to think about it because a few minutes later they ran again to the edge of the mountain, and off they went, jumping into the sky! Shaan and his pilot followed shortly thereafter.

It was a delightful 30-45 minutes descent ...

Back on the road, but not for long and next stop was Fethiye to some shopping and we also stopped off at Mr. Pork to buy some bacon for a fry-up breakfast the next morning. By the time we made it to Oludeniz it was dusk and the mozzies were out in force. Mick and I got the tent halfway up before we went, bugger it, let’s just upgrade to a bungalow. Not that I do too much ...
