    ... do followed then in the opposite direction. Taking an hour to find the main road that was right behind us....Oooops the walk through St James gardens (twice) was lovely.     ... of hotels and first class trai travel. Great western trains was a joy at one stage as they have a fantastic first class waiting room at paddington once graced by royalty and thence after graced by me and my long pockets. It was amazing just how many packets of macadamia nuts (oooh expensive!), olives, fizzy drinks and at one point sandwiches fell into those long pockets. Sometimes I staggered onto the train.     We arrived back home yesterday morning. Our journey was not the most direct route but dictated by our round the world flight ticket. We left Hanoi mid morning on Sunday & flew to Singapore. Our stopover was 6.5 hrs so we had pre-booked a room in the airport transit hotel. Trevor was delighted that our check in to the hotel coincided with the start of the Malaysian Grand Prix and he was able to watch the whole thing live on the TV in our room! Next ...

    ... and tidying. Oh domestic duties, they don't stop no matter where you are. Children just re-enact everything we do. Today they're playing on the London Eye, they've gone in a school trip. Mac is Mr Williams (his Teaching Assistant from Tredington), who lives on a farm, etc etc. the games go on forever. He puts in his onsie as his 'cowboy suit', who knows what goes through their minds.
