... conveyer belt! These restaurants are pretty popular, and less expensive for some reason. The sushi is incredibly fresh and amazing! I tried really weird stuff that I can't even name.
- Visiting Harajuku Street, which is a narrow pedestrian only street that has all of the weird, funny looking fashion that you might expect to see in Japan. Think Hello Kitty, outfits that look like they are meant for dolls, lots of pink, etc.

... is Tokyo station and we found a nice french cafe so picked up a baguette and pastry for lunch. Amazingly good, and a shock from the food we have been eating. Being the central business district, there are lots of expensive restaurants and cafes.

Reality check today travelling with kids! We were planning a day trip out of Tokyo for our last day but woke to hear max with a horrible barking cough and high temps. He felt lousy and did not want to do anything. ... bar was independent, we bought all sorts from sushi to BBQ chicken. It was all pretty cheap too since they were ready to close and had discounted everything. We had a look around the wine shop too and managed to blag some samples :) we took the food back to the hotel. The sushi was brilliant!
