... Here I stayed at possibly the nicest campground I’ve encountered so far, appropriately called Camp’n Class. The location wasn’t terribly inspiring (just off 16A west of Spruce Grove) but it was convenient to all sorts of shopping and just a short distance out of Edmonton. It is obviously a relatively new park, and so the facilities are fresh and sparkling clean. Showers are roomy and bright, with ...

... briefly at Jade City for some shopping. This area is known for mining jade. The sales clerk told us that most of the jade is shipped to China. We stopped for the night at a pull off area along the highway. It was a paved area for vehicles to remove tire chains. Since there wasn't any snow in the mountains, we felt it was a good spot for the night. The next day we drove to Stewart, British Columbia. We were hoping to see some bears at the salmon spawning creek. We stayed ...

Its nice to get out of the city again. We watch as the country winds out in front of us. The variety of birds is changing again. Gone are the ducks and blackbirds - well not entirely but mostly - to be replaced with CROWS and RAVENS.

... stopped for lunch at Grand Cache Lake which was a really pretty beach and picnic area. Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches sure hit the spot! After that we headed to our destination for the day: Hinton, Alberta. This area is beautiful! There are horse ranches everywhere! We have a gorgeous view of the mountains- hoping to try and get some sunset/sunrise photos here! We are enjoying a nice beverage in the nice hot, hot sun for the night! Cheers ...

... get out and take some nice photos. We were the first car to pull over and when we left there would have been 12 cars stopped. We carried on along the highway and came across lots of cars pulled over, they were all looking at the mountain goats on the hill. There was 4 of them including one baby, they were really close and we got some perfect photos. Carried on along the highway and made it to Hinton just before 7pm. We went straight ...
