... wäre ein weiteres Highlight gewesen, da er uns versprochen hat, dass wir auf dem Berg Yushan viele für Taiwan typische Affen und Bambuswälder zu Gesicht bekommen. Von unberührter Natur habe ich ja bisher in Taiwan noch nicht viel - eher gar nichts - gesehen. Wenigstens zeigt sich unsere U.S. Studentin glücklich, sie hatte eh angedroht zu streiken. Schließlich war gestern die Wanderung schon so lang.

Day one was long,long,long. Left Powell river at 0630 on the 12th and travelled to Vancouver, did some shopping, dropped Leslie and Rene's car off and dropped our bags at the airport in storage,sky trained downtown to Vij's Indian food restaurant (Granville and 11th). Encouraging Experiences
... She shared her photos with me. She related that there were 5 baptism pools and it took ~1 1/2 hours to baptize the >500 new brothers and sisters.
I was almost in tears just looking at the photos and listening to her as she related her experience. She explained that that convention helped her to make her resolve to learn Chinese and to move to Taiwan to do so.
