    We found the car parking for mobile homes and made our way through the gates to find a spot, one of hundreds and hundreds of spaces however there were only a handful of vehicles there. I imagine it would be a nightmare trying to get parking through the summer.

    ... It was St. Tropez. We had done a lot of things in France except swam in the sea, today it had to be done. Clear blue but freezing, I kept telling myself it would get warmer, however it didn't. It was so refreshing when submerging myself, Ben wouldn't go under and with a little help from a French lady we started laughing at him. "Regardez moi" she excitedly said (watch me).     Saint Tropez- I was all set to think this place was trashy, hyped up and touristy; but instead I loved it!We took the coastal bus from Cavalaire sur mer to Saint Tropez- we had to wait an hour and 20 mins for the bus as we got the timetable all wrong................ but the boys managed to score a non alcoholic cocktail while we waited.

    ... and one particular woman with a body not dissimilar from the model in Lucian Freud's "Benefits Supervisor Sleeping" painting. Beautiful torquoise waters and a transplanted Londoner who helped us to a few rounds remedied my frazzled nerves. After soaking the sun for a few hours, we braved the cold waters. We did not however brave the nude beach...this time.
