We were in for more than we realised today, experiencing Gondolas and chairlifts that we never would have dreamed about. Our first stop on our way to Whistler was Shannon Falls, a very picturesque place, where the water falls over a series of cliffs, 335 metres above the highway. Megs and I being as weird as we are, created a hockey drinking game which we were playing between ourselves before Justin's friend made a comment to Justin asking if we were ok. Justin's response was "Why? What are they doing now?" And we responded with "we're playing a drinking game. When a player falls over past his knees, first person to call man ...

... so we got that and we were glad we did. We got six of us in there with all our luggage and Bob's wheelchair and set off for Whistler. We had Bob and Sue, Stuart, Luke and Andrew and myself and the girls went with Carrie. We were planning to drive up in convoy, but that lasted less than 5 minutes as I was sat in the back using Waze for directions and saw that I5 was at a standstill, so we carried on with an alternative route ...
