I got to Kelowna a night before our departure to whistler. I was organising Brees present with Corey. She had got the gifts engraved as a big favor for me the previous day so I needed to pick them up and give her some money, as well as leave a bag with her. Corey is doing me another big favor by picking me up when I return to kelowna and then fly out to Edmonton. She's an absolute darlin! Instead of spending an additional 2 hours chilling waiting for the ferry, we spent 2 hours chilling in the sun on the ferry watching a pod of dolphins play around in the bay. Eventually Bernie, Jess and Andi joined us then the laughs continued. It was such a nice relaxed night with a good crew around the fire with endless stories and laughs. We ...

Spent Canada Day, Canada's 147th Birthday in Whistler. Festivities & celebrations were everywhere.

Went for a scenic Helicopter ride over the area, again, spectacular scenery. Again a very hot day here so I don't think there will be snow on the mountains for much longer if this keeps up !

... after Whistler, I met my cousin in Fernie and we roadtripped in her awesome van to the states. I hadn’t seen her in many years as she moved to Canada so it was great to catch up! I then reunited with a few of my Whistler family in LA and we flew to Turkey to tour around Gallipoli and Troy. Istanbul was an amazing city apart from the Blue Mosque waking us up at 5am. Getting from the airport was also entertaining as the taxi driver spoke ...
