... lovely sights and photos from the open air carriage (sides not roof). Did the peak to peak gondola ride for the experience regardless of the weather although was difficult to see much, in fact anything from the top, but fog had lifted from the village by the time we came down again. Quick jaunt around the village then back to the train for the trip ...

... it, we made the group decision the jump the fence, take our shoes off and run through the deep puddle with sharp rocks on the bottom. Was pretty fun but by the end of the puddle our feet were frozen and the rocks felt sharper and sharper with our cold feet. At the other end we put our shoes back on (without our socks) and they were instantly warm again. Was a cool sight to see these big train tunnels through the mountain with raging currents under the bridges. By the time ...

... a great time with the sound of "woohhooooo" from every second skier below. I did a few more runs around 7th Heaven, woohoo-ing a lot myself until my legs were aching (it's much ********* your legs / calves when skiing in powder) so I decided to leave the now churned up 7th Heaven and did some different runs on Blackcomb Mountain. I then took the Peak to Peak over to Whistler Mountain where I had some lunch, did a few more runs and then headed home very tired ...

Pronunciations – There are some odd pronunciations to be heard around the resort. Some people say Blackcoombe when referring to the mountain which 90% of people call Black-COMB (as in the thing you brush your hair with). The other funnier one is some heavily accented Americans refer to the Gon-DOUGH-LA and not the Gon-da-la as most of us say it

... New Year’s Day off work (WHOOP WHOOP!) so the plan is to see in the New Year @ Merlins with a popular local cover band called the Hair Farmers, who were popular back when A&S were here in Whistler for a season.

Both Jenny and I are hoping not to have too much of a hangover especially as Jenny has picked up a cold and will no doubt be passing it on to me!
