The intention was to go snorkelling, my latest pastime after a visit to the Marine Reserve a couple of weeks previously. I became addicted to snorkelling in Australia after my adventures with Elvis the Maori Wrasse and friends in the Great Barrier Reef and was excited to give it a try in New Zealand.
