... this job because most of the time we get to eat any food that is left over. Last night was a buffet style which means there is always food left over to eat. Most of the time it is really good and last night the food was especially good. The minute we are given our break the four of us American girls raced up the stairs of the convention center to get the food. We were lucky last night because two of us got pieces of lamb from the buffet which was really really delicious ...
Wellington, Wellington, New Zealand fierce4nz... it – attractive women are my downfall again J
What I saw: the bites from the Abel Tasman have gone a deep red colour and started to spead. Eeeek I think I need a doctor.
What I heard: the most ferocious winds that were actually making the house shake – no one else seemed to share my 'OMG it's a hurricane we are all going to die ...
... we're even!! A big thanks to Charlotte for her hospitality & a particular mention of how good her cooking is – namely a delicious roast, followed by Pavlova. Mmmm...
Lower Hutt is a suburb 15 mins North of the city, named by it's location along the River Hutt. I had very picturesque runs along the river North & South (Lower & Upper Hutt) – fairly flat too; so now I'm a little apprehensive about tackling the hill from the city up to where we are ...
... give in quite yet. The comparison can, at this point, be only one-sided as Steve hasn't visited my library. He's agreed to come to Illinois, but I haven't gotten an actual date yet.
I also visited an awesome honey shop downtown. All the honey you could ever want!!! I am completely addicted to the honey here, and jumped at the chance to sample types from different native plants. I plan to carry a supply home for myself, no doubt about that. Also honey fudge. And honey nougat. Yum.
... Colossal? 495kg for 10m! Talk about some dinner! In the evening we went to the cinema to watch State of Play. Very good and very confusing, too.
06.06.09: Another bright day in Wellington and surprisingly not windy! We walked around the botanic gardens, which have a great view of the city. It is pretty relaxing, full of families for the week end. We stopped at Old St Paul cathedral, which is not ...

Wellington, New Zealand mirja... joka kannattaa ehdottomasti käydä tsekkaamassa.
Wellington, North Island, New Zealand travellerhans... and farmed this Mackenzie region. The church stands at the head of the glacial aqua waters of Lake Tekapo(?) giving a view onto the lake and distant mountains that is truly heavenly. As we drive thru the dry brown hills of the Lindis Pass ,dark ominous clouds gather over the hills. We're on the edge of a huge storm -lightning in the distance, wind and what's this - hail! You can get ...
Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand trekkers2... stand easy people they got away), then 2 huge 'Orca' swam right under the boat. It was a magical moment that will look stunning on my video. Especially if I'd have remembered to charge the battery the night before. We stopped off at an Island and I dun a jump in the air (fig.2). Then went down to Rotorua which whilst it stank of natural stinks and sulphur was a nice place where we tickled adventure ...
Wellington, North Island, New Zealand rickyfondant... of the hills so over looks the town. She has cute dog called Millie who's a Staffordshire terrier (I think) which keeps making me want to have a pet when I get home. I'm just not sure what I would do when I'm at work all day but I will definitely give it some thought when I get home so I have a bit of company. A few drink later and a few more episodes of flight of the Concorde and it was time for bed.
