My mate Suwan. The maybe deaf artist.

A travel blog entry by siobhan-mw.aus

For 300B I bought this painting from a deaf artist named Suwan. He waters trees in the temple grounds.
Nakhon Pathom is the town where the temple was,
Its name escapes my mind because......
Its long.
I'm sure many people have walked past Suwans work before. Maybe because they didn't believe his imparement to be true or maybe they were walking without awareness. I was walking around around the temple, weaving between the pillars ...

Bangkok in a better light

The owners Kevin and Wasana are a young, fun couple and both chill out around the hostel with their two Persian kittens Tiny and Peanut. I meet Tristan and Kiri downstairs and we wander around Bangkok to find breakfast. I have fruit salad and a shake, Kiri ...

Tales from Thailand: Bangkok 2.0

A travel blog entry by yosiane

... made me blurt out French and the guy's eyes popped out of his head. Yes. Gotcha. He was not amused and fair enough because his accent was not in the slightest bit French and he didn't look French. I had squished his ego. Ha. Oops. Then to restore it a little he dared us guess where his friend was from. He claimed that would be impossible since the guy has studied in Canada and lost all of his original accent there so we would never ...
