... We visited the tea museum and learned how the planters built up communities. There were pictures showing the Planters Rugby Team through the ages. We learned how the Tata group became the majority shareholder after India Independence and how they sold their shares to the plantation workers in 2005 who now operate it as a cooperative venture in this communist region.

The town of Munnar itself is quite a grim affair so we hired a scooter and ...

After the bathing they take them away for feeding, then chain them all to a tree where they're left to snack on palm leaves, aaand that's your lot, kids. Sooo yeah. Once we ...

... indian restaurant you've ever been to? Every meal here is better than that, and it costs next to nothing!! I also love that all meal are vegetarian as standard here - if you want meat you should visit a rare 'non-veg' restaurant. The 'thali' is the Gibson family favourite lunch, both on account of its price (all you can eat for 50p!) and the experience! Follow a sign that says 'meals ready' and sit down at a table. No need to order ...

... and I can have my rice belly reduced before I return home. It would not be a very good advert if I return home fatter and flabbier than when I arrived. I bet they will rig the weighing scales and pronounce five kilos weight loss at the end and I won't find out the truth until I jump on the scales at home in the UK. Yoga man, Suresh, comes today as he was not available yesterday which was just as well as my enema yesterday did cause me some stomach trouble. The enema today had ...
