    ... very slipery stones. i was ofcourse afraid to slip and hurt my enkle. with my not used on bare feet walking feet. yes chandra very funny he.

    and the top point was a hike on the mountain with nice animals we saw. monkey , lots of birds and the homming bird yeahhh.
    the hike was intermediate but good to do onley not downwards with the small stones.
    even ancient drawnings at the rocks.

    ... employed by a tea estate(there are16 tea estates in Munnar ) means free housing, nursery/school for children and a small pension is provided but once you retire (58 years old) or leave the company you have to leave the house too.
    A worker is paid on average 200 rupees (2pound) per day assuming they pick 21kg of tea leaves. If more is picked then wages will be paid accordingly. 5kg of fresh tea leaves equates to roughly 1 kg of ready tea. Apparently 1kg of white ...

    ... During my train journey from Kollam to Aluva, I had a pleasant journey in a chair car. One of the interesting observation was the presence of woman as TTR's in trains (See Picture), in all the years that I have travelled by trains, I have never seen one. Gender equality in labor is on the move!

    ... and lasted about 13 hours before we jumped on the first tuk tuk outta there. The backdrop was amazing but the resort was a bit gash.. our room didn't have a roof in the bathroom, the mattress was damp, pillows moldy, the spiders were literally the size of my hand and nothing to do! so we decided to leg it.
    Hopefully Bangalore will be better though.

    Will keep you updated more..... only 7 months til we are back ;)
