... tradition. Whilst they were gone we had to do some homework - boring!

In the afternoon we did a treasure hunt with Catherine. She did one for us and we did one for her. It was really fun until Maddy's big mouth wrecked it. Catherine thought I was getting tired so I had a bath and then got to watch a movie before dinner.

For dinner Phil made a roast with Yorkshire pudding and baked potatoes - yum! Then after dinner we had thumb wars with Phil before going to bed. Great ...

... Restormel only saw action once during the Civil war during Charles I rein. After this is basically fell into ruins. However, it is still a nice castle to see today. The surrounding countryside is very nice and you could picture walking through the forests during the castle's heyday and hunting for deer. These kinds of ruins just spark the imagination and make you marvel at how well these were built to last this ...

... at Gard du Nord and then went straight to CDG Airport on the RER. It was so quick and easy and we got off at Terminal 2 and checked in straight away. No queue, no wait - superb. Mum went to try and claim her VAT and Dad took us through security and passport control. We watched this American couple try to take all these bottles of wine through security. They didn't get very far.

We were waiting at the gate in plenty of time (just like Dad likes it) and then had to catch ...

... and roll another dice to show if you hit the enemy or not. The other game was when you had a flag and you rolled the dice to see what your mission was. The first to complete the mission wins. It was like a board game with a story in it. Dressing up as one of the Navy team was really fun, I dressed up as the person who guides the plane onto the ship, while Alexander dressed up as the person who loads missiles onto them. It was really fun.
