... away and so off on another big walk. Feeling very frustrated we arrived at the hotel finally, go to check in and they can't find our room.... Ok, room found and in we go. The best thing about Dublin is Julie's friends came to meet her (7 friends came), great catch up and a couple of drinks. We head into the Temple Bar area and go into a pub and listen to some music before going to another pub for tea. ... a really nice place and they made people leave so that we had a really nice central table. Afterwards we wandered around and just stopped in different bars here and there. We did find the local bars but they weren’t terribly welcoming. It wasn’t like an aggressive unwelcome, it was just obviously a local bar not looking for tourists and we were 4 Americans. We got back to the ship around 1AM.

... and got coffee at Starbucks (one of the few places open that early) and chatted with a couple from Columbus, Ohio. Around 9:30, we walked over to Trinity College and queued up with a bunch of German tourists to see the Old Library and the Book of Kells. It is truly fascinating. You can see history close up in front of you. The Book of Kells ("turning darkness into light"), Brian Boru's harp, the Old Library, and the College's campus were all beautiful.

Barry saw an Aire mentioned in one of the tourist brochures so we went a few miles north and found it in a beautiful spot by the coast in Donaghadee.
