The bartenders did a great job of keeping everyone very happy throughout my stay. Very important to some people. No tipping please. Not accepted.



Sundowner for dinner – Good food, cute little restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining. Sometimes a wait for a table though, FYI. Portions were small but ...

... brighten the dark sky. It was very cool.

This morning we've just breakfasted, been for one last swim (and a few final jumps) and packed. We'll have some lunch now and the taxi should be here in an hour and a half or so.

We will update this blog with some pictures when we get home to give it some life, and write a final entry when we have had time to reflect. Other than that, we're nearly done. It's been brilliant.

... covered in tealights and the whole set up looked beautiful. It goes down as one of the real highlights of the trip. The food, as ever, was excellent, but the setting was something else entirely. I'll show you the pics when we're back, but I doubt they will do justice to it.

Today I think we might head down into Negril (10 min by taxi) before coming back for some spa action.

... the setting of this place is quite amazing - and the "resort" (feels wrong to use that word) looks lovely. Lots of spots for jumping off the cliffs into the sea, and our room is very cool. Tomorrow we will snorkel, and have dinner in a cave. All good! Drinks and food both look amazing. The weather is hot and sunny, with the odd tropical downpour (these never last long). ... to taxier og 340 jamaican dollar senere var vi fremme i Black River og klare for krokodille-safari :) Guiden vaar var en ung, lokal fyr, saa vi fikk mye oppmerksomhet, og de beste plassene! Paa veien rundt i elveleie fikk vi se 5-6 krokodiller paa naert hold, noe som ikke var saa skummelt i virkeligheten som jeg hadde tenkt paa forhaand. De var veldig rolige, og guiden vaar kunne nesten mate de fra handa.. og klappet et par av de paa snuten! Litt ...

I spent almost a week in Negril, a long stretch of beaches along the western tip of Jamaica. Very popular with tourists. I walked the beach several times and I've been annoyed by the "farmers" and the like on a regular basis. They are sometimes aggressive. Better to walk along the road than the beach at night to/from the restaurant for obvious reasons. Nice sunsets.

... I looked back down the corridor and another plane load of people were approaching. More ladies join the line; but several refused to wait and hurried around the next corner. Large murals of Jamaica appeared on the walls and sets of steps led upward. Throngs of people were funneled into the opening and there was a mass of humanity trying to sort itself into another queue. We finally arrived at the top, and there stood two immigration workers. They turned out to be ...

... It is definitely night now so it's best to err on the side of caution. At one point I turn around to look down the beach again and a very fine looking man catches my eye and seems to be heading towards the bar where I'm sitting. But as he walks closer my eyes light up as I realize its Piper! In my bewilderment of how he found us at this exact bar a big grin spans my face and I jump up and give him a hug! Its actually been 11 months since my last trip ...
