... After soaking up the sun and eating a massive amount of food again, we decided to head for a drive around Santa Monica and see Montana street and then head to Santa Monica shopping district for a wander and a cocktail before home time! On the way down the 1 (that's the main ocean road!) Ricky spotted that one of the amazing Malibu beach houses had an open house. We all deliberated for a total of about 30 seconds before deciding that we could bluff it and go and take ...

Thailand has nothing on downtown LA. There are streets lined with tents and shanty huts. There are so many homeless routing through bins, drinking and eating what they can find. Day 1 - I felt happy when we landed in LA. We checked into our new hotel. At first I thought it was bad because of the smell, but then I went into our rooms and it was quite fantastic. We went on the Metro trains to Hollywood Vine Station and walked along the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I saw the Hollywood sign and also saw some characters from movies. I had a humongous sleep and then at 9pm I went to LA Live for dinner. We went to the Wolfgang Puck Restaurant and ...

Well travelling is always an experience but the last forty eight hours certainly has lived up to that. First thing was to get from the hostel to the bus stop transferring me to the Starlight Express train which was to take me along the coast with spectacular views. Having got a taxi to reach the bus stop several blocks away I found the bus stopped at a number of stops including the one much nearer the hostel. Duff info ...
