To start off our phantasmal journey to the wonderland of vanilla, sugar, and creamy goodness, we need to get our ingredients ready. We had a quick look in Ross (which is a clearance outlet store). Picked up a couple of bargains.
Long Beach's Belmont Pier was next on our list and what a stunning day it was too. Yet another cloudless sky and high 20's temperatures had brought nearly everyone outside today.
