Woke up and had breakfast early so we could begin our busiest sightseeing tour. My skills escaped me & near the end of the game I finally sunk one, in my defence they had an extra long table & some foreign rules. Shortly after a beer bong was being held up with no takers. I thought I better do the right thing & volunteer to the amazement of the Americans & foreigners who obviously hadn't seen a female do ...
... I couldn't take my eyes from the hands of the guy playing it was like a blur. Seriously talented guy. Obviously not having been to LA before I wanted to go see the Hollywood sign and stars so Madeleine, her sister and dog and I went walking the very popular Runyon canyon where there are great views of the Hollywood sign and that's not all! As soon as we walked in the gate there was a huge black guy stood there with a snake. I'm not talking small house pet or Arabian snake in ...
... and spent maybe 20-30 min looking around (and eating that yummy raspberry cookie we got the day before in Solvang!).
Back on the road to head to Los Angeles, and our airbnb in El Segundo - so close to LAX - the planes landing and taking off were really noisy, but we had a hummingbird to watch, and were so tired at night we didn't notice the noise. And I like watching planes - wish we'd had time to go to a hill ...
