Great location, great staff although the elevator was a bit hard to find.

We boarded our flight in San Francisco at noon local time. We flew Air Canada, which was a good experience. The flight was less than 5 hours long, and the seats had TV screens in the back of them, with plenty of entertainment options. I had planned to try and nap, but ended up staying up to watch This is Where I Leave You and a few episodes of …

Our friend Fiona took a red eye flight from Vancouver to meet us, so we awoke around 8am local time to her knock. She looked exhausted, though, so we told her to nap until 11 and we would regroup then. ... or smashed potatoes. Then you can add all sorts of things to the classic cheese curd and gravy concoction. I opt for the classic poutine with some mushrooms. The boys add bacon, ham, onions on theirs. We enjoy our lunch (the regular poutine was a good size) and catching up on things missed over the past decade. We are full after lunch so Jerry walks us to the Village then heads home to do some errands.

The Village is the gay capital of Montreal and as you walk ...

... Despite the fact that these were international flights, and you're supposed to check in two hours early, no one showed up until nearly 5 am. When I went up to the counter, I was praying so hard I can't even tell you. Then I stood there for nearly 40 minutes while the attendant searched for flights that would connect me to Winnipeg. There were none for today, Wednesday was looking like my earliest option. I'd given up on getting out of New York that day when she told me the ...
