Great location, great staff although the elevator was a bit hard to find.

We boarded our flight in San Francisco at noon local time. We flew Air Canada, which was a good experience. The flight was less than 5 hours long, and the seats had TV screens in the back of them, with plenty of entertainment options. I had planned to try and nap, but ended up staying up to watch This is Where I Leave You and a few episodes of …

Our friend Fiona took a red eye flight from Vancouver to meet us, so we awoke around 8am local time to her knock. She looked exhausted, though, so we told her to nap until 11 and we would regroup then. Continuing along our way it started to rain more heavily and the trees which lined the highway had lost most of their leaves due to the high winds they had yesterday. We arrived at our hotel around 4pm freshening up and unpacking before we went to dinner at an Italian restaurant downtown. Jo was our waiter and our entertainment. The best waiter we have ...

The morning was a bit rough but I made plans with Scott last night to go rock climbing with him. I met up with him at the gym which seemed like miles away. Kind of expensive too- $17 for bouldering and shoe hire.

Wow I'm weak compared to how I used to climb, but it was so good to finally get back on a wall. We climber around for as long as we could before he had to go to work and I had to stop because I was just out of puff.
