... this is a well established tradition but what is different this year is that the temperatures in Pasadena are going to hit a record low (around 30 degrees, I think) so there has been a lot of news coverage of those camping out on the street overnight. It looked like fun. The photos below are little snapshots of our day. This was a wonderful way to say good bye to 2014. Now, Jeff and I are going to open and enjoy our champaign. ... changed, packed and spruced ourselves up for we could be about to meet the loves of our lives and things are just so super exciting. We hauled our massive cases filled with sand, non-matching clothes and memories down the two flights of stairs. Once again we felt the sense of freedom of the open road and no clear plans. Just a map, camera and ourselves. We don't need much more.

After we buckled up in our seats, we drove off....

This entry is less about Los Angeles itself and more about the flight from LA to Guatemala City. (Although, looking down on the lights of Los Angeles from the plane was enough to make me reconsider humanity).
