    ... savings of not having to stay at a motel or eating out in restaurants it's not so bad. Jan has a new "scrubby-thing" on a stick that she's going to use on the windshield. It just drank a quarter of a big bottle of Dawn. Can't wait to see if it actually works because we wiped out a large percentage of the flying insects between North Carolina and here today. So far she has soap all over the ground and herself. Not sure if the windshield is deriving any benefit. Will keep you ...

    ... had showers and then wandered down the roads looking for restaurants to eat at for dinner. We ate at a brasserie 2 miles away, it was delicious and the waitress had a great sense of humour! XD We came home and jumped into bed and slept.. Ready to begin again the next day, I have to go! Later Gators! LJ ...

    ... hotel to dry off a bit after our rainy day before heading over to What If for dinner. This restaurant is in the basement of the Howard Johnson’s. We shared the Calamari and Keith had Linguine with White Clam Sauce and I had Pappardelle Bolognese. We enjoyed it, but had no room for dessert.

    ... the building, we could park in a lot closer to our room than the one the desk staffer indicated. I wish now I had taken a picture of the room, but it was just underwhelming. It was clean, but, for the price, it wasn't luxury at all. It wasn't any different than say a Hilton or Sheraton. Maybe it was my fault for assuming that it was, based on the price.     ... the Liberty Bell and walked around Independence Hall. We had some colonial brews and an appetizer at the famous City Tavern, a historic meeting place for our founding fathers.
