... I was not really sure I knew where the car's limits were.

I stopped only for gas and took no photos.

But I am in a 3 star Best Western hotel, with it's own restaurant and it's own bar - which is quite beyond my nominal "$100 Can / night" rule, but I was able to do it because I redeemed a free night (from booking all those other nights online) and so get all this luxury for a ...

A lot of driving today, about 8 hours, but we've crossed 2 states and one time zone and are now in central Idaho. Super warm here in Baker, hopefully it will cool off a bit as we head north. Lots of nice bikes in town for Baker Bike ...

Once again it was an amazing drive and then once we stopped for fuel at Boardman, we turned south-east and left the river and heading ...

We had a 3 hour trip to get to “Hells Canyon Adventure” for a full day jetboat tour of the canyon along the snake river. Had to be there by 9:30 which required us to leave before sunlight around 6 am. It rained overnight so the roads were wet. Dark, wet roads, fallen rocks, gravel, lots of animals (deer, elk, bears), twisty mountain roads (only 75 miles but 3 hours in good weather, you do the math) and temperatures in ...
